Water wall fountains: impressive feature indoor, outdoor

If you really want to be different add a water wall fountain to your home. A cascading wall fountain really does look impressive. They are particularly good for humidifying rooms because of the large surface area down which the water flows. A water wall fountain must be lightweight. Otherwise you might just pull the house down only joking. 

Do not forget that an impressive wall fountain does not have to be hung. An ideal self-standing wall fountain is one that goes into a corner or against a wall or are used to cover a gap and also have a built in pond. Here is an example using natural rock finish. Try a few small goldfish in this pond to add even more life and movement to your wall fountain.

Water wall fountains can be a single piece unit or modular to cater for different tastes in height and width.

Of course there are many other types of wall fountain meaning fountains that attach directly to a wall and NOT the self standing in front of a wall as is the case for the above wall fountain. The classic lions head always comes to my mind first when I think of a wall fountain. Then there is the gargoyle wall fountain, the angels wall fountain and the list goes on and on.

On a serious note heavy concrete wall fountain need special attention when mounting onto walls. They can easily drop and hurt someone if not properly attached using strong wall bolts. Most people do not have the tools to install these wall fountain to ensure they remain perfectly safe under all conditions.

This fact alone is a very good reason to use a lightweight resin or fibreglass wall fountain. Dont take a chance with a heavy wall fountain especially if there are kids around the place.
